Christmas in San Antonio

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere you go in San Antonio. Residents of Stone Creek RV Park can enjoy the month-long celebration here, as some attractions are transformed into a winter wonderland and have special events planned. One example is Six Flags Fiesta Texas, which will have great shows, holiday treats and beautiful lights.

SeaWorld is another attraction that is brimming with the Christmas spirit. Visitors can sip hot chocolate as they take in the live shows and listen to holiday music.

While everyone enjoys the lights, decorations and gaiety of the holidays, it’s good to remember the reason for the season, the aspect of Christmas that gives true joy. A wonderful place to do this is to attend the San Antonio Symphony’s production of The Messiah, an exquisite masterpiece that combines the beauty of Handel’s music with Scriptures heralding the birth of Christ. This year’s presentation will be held at University United Methodist Church on December 1.
